Celia's Castle
The great vampire Celia's castle has been invaded by the legion of Hell. Find and slay the prime evil in this bite sized metroidvania and return to feasting upon villagers once again.
Gamepad controls (recommended):
- Left stick - move
- A - Jump
- X - Attack
- B - Fireball (when learned)
Keyboard controls:
- WASD - move
- Space - Jump
- Ctrl/L-click - Attack
- Alt/R-click - Fireball (when learned) (might need to fullscreen if playing with keyboard)
Created as part of Vampire Themed Game Jam.
Cheat codes:
Press "i" 3 times for invulnerability.
Press "o" 3 times for 5x melee damage.
All art made by me with the exception of 0x72's character sprites.
Music is "Abstract Experimental Track#1 (looped)" by Muz Station Productions.

Fun little game. I will say that the keyboard only controls are a bit odd, but it might just be my laptop. Only the left side ctrl and alt buttons work, and my left side ctrl button is way over so I had to reach with my pinky every time I wanted to attack. The alt button kept pausing the game, so using fireball was kind of annoying. I'd reccommend using z, x and c and/or j, k and l for your jump and attack buttons. Keyboard controls worked great, though.

Thanks for playing! If you don't me asking, which control scheme did you use? I have gamepad (recommended), full keyboard, and keyboard + mouse controls.
i tried the keyboard controls - but using the mouse doesnt work for me , seems like you need 3 hands !
i would use arrow keys for direction and jump , then zx for for the actions ... i think thats a prety standard layout ?
Oh interesting, the mouse is just for left click + right click which seem to work for me with WASD as movement. I guess I'm biased because every game I play uses a similar control scheme but I appreciate you letting me know about this control scheme as it's something I can definitely add support for in future games!
i should add im playing on a laptop and thats why its super awkward for me to use the mouse controls !
